Shake, Shaken by a Polaroid Picture

Hey-Ya all it's Trailer Tuesday!

Come see what's frights producers Roy Lee and Chris Bender (The Ring & The Grudge) are bringing to a theater near you this August.

A cursed polaroid camera, seemingly straight out of Friday the 13th: The Series, has fallen into the hands of unsuspecting teenager Bird Fitcher played by Kathryn Prescott. Written by Blair Butler and based on the short by Lars Klevberg, this film has elements reminiscent of Final Destination and the Ring.

Personally, I've always felt that cursed object stories should have some level of benefit to their power. It is this benefit that tricks the user into continued dependence. The curse object becomes their drug. They are damned if the use the object and damned if they don't.

That being said, I'm not sure if this film will be worth the watch or not. It seems like a decent team was pulled together to produce it, but there isn't anything that I can see that truly sets it a part from other curse object films.

But don't take my word for it. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think. This film is expected to be the next horror franchise, do you agree?
